Box of Happiness

Something came in the mail today.  Probably not what you expect, although I just sent a couple of heavy boxes hurtling this direction to feed some toys.  No, it was a couple of signed copies of Monster Hunter Legion.  I guess it's time to let Mrs. 45er have the Kindle for a while.  I'll be working on some dead tree versions of a book for the first time in a while.

Yippee

    1. I was rather surprised on this one, Stephen. I'm usually the last one to get anything. I hope it's sooner rather than later for you.

  2. Kindles, Nooks, etc are nice; but I still like 'real' books...

    1. I totally agree, NFO. I do really like the Kindle and it has re-kindled (see what I did there?) an interest for me in some great classics. I just finished a bunch of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne and was just starting on Dracula when this came. I do like paper books and it's hard to get a Kindle signed.

    1. I will let you know, dear kymber. If it is anything like the first few it will be out of this world. I would call this series of books a totally entertaining and easy read. Don't look for deep subject matter and the solution to the earth's woes. Look for accurate firearm descriptions and addicting action. If you haven't checked out the MHI series, I recommend them highly. Word of caution: set aside some time when you start the book because you can't put it down.

  4. Spent most of yesterday reading the first half on my kindle, since mine has not arrived yet. It is great so far.

    1. Oh, yes it is. I'm about to do a no-spoiler review. Great, just like all the ones before.
