...........................It takes all kinds...
LOL, try 100 rounds with an M-1, or 140 rounds of .308 in an F-600 match... BTDT, and took a WEEK to recover!
I was thinking about the M-1 afterwards, especially the guys behind those Garands shooting hundreds of rounds during battle. The action takes some of the heat, but it makes up for it in volume.
7 more days till we make it worse with thousands of more rounds!
It hit me that I may have made a mistake putting this kind of hurt on me a week before a major shoot. I'll suffer through it. :)
Ouch, I'm taking my Marlin .444 and .450 out Friday just to burn powder, not as much now though.
Oh, good luck with that, Suerte. We're talking about getting a lead sled so we can sight in a bunch of rifles without this result. I'm sure most hunters have one or two rifles and that's it. When you're sighting in a half dozen or so you need better tools, lol.
I love those kinds of bruises:)
Wow, am I ever late on these replies. Life's been happening like crazy. You're right, Agirl. They are the best kind.
That's the good kinda bruise!!...
Yep, LB, there is a good kind of hurt.
My first long weekend with an 8 mm Mauser I dared not wear an off thes shoulder dress for a while. Ow. But it's a good kind of ow.
You're right, Brigid. So, would you have to match that bruise with an amethyst necklace? :)
