AR-15 used for good - UNPOSSIBLE

Interesting story:
Summary:  Someone working late night at a gas station who also happens to be an Iraq War Vet decides not to take it lying down from a couple of young thugs.  He kicks one, gets his AR and all-of-a-sudden they aren't so tough anymore.  No one is injured, but both are arrested after they scamper away.
Two amazing things about this story:
A. an AR-15 overcame it's inherent evil and was forced to be used to do something good.  I'm also surprised that the Iraq war veteran was able to figure out how to use it, even with extensive training.  After all, Joe Biden says it's so hard to figure out we should all have double-barrel shotguns and shoot through doors and off our balconies with them.
B. according to DHS veterans are potentially the enemy, but here one is doing a positive thing working hard and defending himself from criminals.
I know, go figure.

  1. There are so many stories just like this where responsible gun owners use their guns, you know, responsibly.

    1. Thanks, Agirl. Of course you are right. There are thousands of gun owners that don't make the news every day just by being responsible.

  2. Wow. Its almost....almost....as if....the media and the .gov ......are WRONG! Gasp! Distraught Expression! Oh, noes!

Kudos to the vet. Someone needs to give him a raise, and if I ever met him, his next beverage of choice would be on my tab.

    1. Color me shocked, Rabid. I think they know they're wrong and don't care.

    2. The sad, scary part is that they're not even pretending anymore. They're just blatantly cooking numbers and exploiting tragedies, pouncing on the smallest paper cuts that can be spun to promote their agenda. Wrong information, called out about it? Oh, just ignore it. No need to issue a retraction and/or apology anymore. Seriously, this makes me nervous.

    3. I know where you're coming from. It's difficult to think it isn't intentional.
