Dear New Restaurant:
If you're going to choose a sign to put on your front door, you have many choices. This was my first visit to a newly constructed up-scale sandwich shop in town. Not only did the store not have the "no guns allowed" legal language sign (which is pretty much a "going out of business sign" in this area), they had an NRA sticker on the front door. Whatever you think about what the NRA does, any business that displays their 2A beliefs that proudly has my business. Oh, and the sandwiches were incredible too, which kind of helps.

OK, so what kind of sandwich did you have? And what others do they have?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a business that has its "stuff" together!
ReplyDeleteNice! Is it close enough to hit for lunch tomorrow after hunting?
ReplyDeleteI need to either find a sign or make one that states, "Concealed Carry welcomed and encouraged here."
ReplyDeleteGotta work on it.
Flier - I had their "Brainstorm" which is a huge pile of meat, two cheeses and a pile of green rabbit food to make you feel better about eating it. They steam the sandwich on request.
ReplyDeleteJohn - I think they do. I'll have to talk to the owner some time to see how much business he will be getting from me.
That Guy - real close to the house, so it's an easy option. Real good, too. They whip their Key Lime pie so it's nice and light and tastes awesome. Personal experience.
Stephen - sometimes something as simple as a national and/or local organization sticker can do the trick without having to make up a sign. We all know what insurance companies can do to a business.
Sounds like my kind of place, now ONE question, do they put meringue on the Key Lime pie???
ReplyDeleteNFO - it was covered with whipped cream with little green sprinkles on top. :)
ReplyDeleteA restaurant here in the Land of 10,000 Therapies, beneath their 'Such and such' restaurant bans guns, was this sign, red letters on white background, " NEED CASH? ATM Inside"
ReplyDeleteKerry, welcome and thanks for stopping by. There's irony in those two signs. #1, I wouldn't be a shopper there, but that aside, the banned guns makes the place an ATM for criminals.
